DESCRIPTION:Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th October 2016 – Prättigauer Alp Spektakel and Alpabzug in Seewis \nThis is a lovely event to go to and apart from the charm of Seewis there is so much going on with endless stalls of crafts and homemade produce\, music\, food\, sheep shearing\, different activities and of course lots of cheese everywhere!  There is a Post Bus that continually drives up to Seewis and either take the train to Grüsch and the bus will pick you up at the station (train includes shuttle and entrance) or park your car in the big car park and get the bus from there.  To get the best view walk up the hill from the bus stop and go up through the narrow streets until you are above the village – it is a huge parade on the Saturday and there can be a bit of waiting so have a coffee first!  The parade will not start before 11.00am but there could be queues for the bus so get to the Grüsch car park in good time.  On Sunday there is yodelling in the beautiful Church and even an Alpine Beard competition …. judging is at 1.30pm and the victory parade is at 3.30pm – natural beards only!!! There are at least 50 stands to visit and lots of very Swiss music and sweet children dressed up in traditional clothes with their favourite animals – go and enjoy!  Further information on the website (German only) www.alpspektakel.ch.   \n  \n
